Dental Nurse

Chairside support across family, specialist and aesthetic treatments, working alongside seven dentists.

Full-time or part-time · Desa Sri Hartamas, KL

What you'll do

  • Assist chairside across family, specialist and aesthetic treatments
  • Set up each surgery between patients, with sealed, single-patient instrument sets
  • Run the MELAG autoclave cycle and keep the sterilisation records straight
  • Set up for low-dose digital X-rays and keep single-use stock in order
  • Settle nervous patients and children before the dentist sits down
  • Clinical work only — reception, appointments and payments are handled separately

What we're looking for

  • No experience needed — trainee nurses are welcome, and we'll train you
  • A calm, steady manner, especially with children and anxious patients
  • Infection control treated as routine, not as something to remember
  • Willing to learn treatments you haven't assisted on before
  • English, and ideally Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia — our team works across all three
  • Reliable timekeeping, because we run by appointment and don't like keeping people waiting

Locum Dentist

What you'll do

  • See general patients: check-ups, scaling, fillings, extractions and emergency care
  • Refer in-house when a case needs orthodontics, oral surgery, periodontics or restorative work
  • Work with our nursing team, our sterilisation routine and low-dose digital radiography
  • Leave notes and treatment plans clear enough for the next dentist to pick up
  • Tell patients what they need and what they don't — that is how this clinic works

What we're looking for

  • Registered with the Malaysian Dental Council, with a valid Annual Practising Certificate
  • Comfortable across everyday general dentistry, and clear about where your own limits sit
  • Able to tell a patient their teeth don't need anything yet
  • English, and ideally Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia

We tell patients what their teeth need and, just as importantly, what they don't. No pressure, no over-recommending. That's published on our own website, in front of every patient who reads it — which makes it a standard you'd be working to, not a slogan on a careers page.

We're a small clinic on Jalan 24/70A, above the Burger King corner lot, with street parking around it. Five minutes' drive from Mont Kiara and Publika, and easy enough from the Penchala Link or Jalan Duta. Patients come by appointment only, and there's no layer of management between you and the dentist you're working with — that's either the appeal or it isn't.

  • Seven dentists under one roof, across orthodontics, oral & maxillofacial surgery, periodontics and restorative dentistry — plus dedicated endodontic care
  • 21 treatments across family, specialist and aesthetic dentistry, so the case mix is wide
  • Three of our dentists lecture or run hands-on training, at IMU, UKM and for practising general dentists
  • Medical-grade MELAG autoclave sterilisation, sealed single-patient instrument sets and single-use items
  • Low-dose digital radiography, rotary endodontics, in-clinic laser whitening and electrocautery for tongue-tie release
  • A team that works in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia

What about pay, benefits and start date?

These depend on your experience and are agreed with you directly, not fixed in an advert. Ask us anything when you get in touch — we'd rather talk about it openly than make you ask twice.

Can I apply if I'm still training, or newly qualified?

Yes. For the dental nurse role no experience is needed — trainees are welcome and we'll train you. For the locum role, Malaysian Dental Council registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate are not negotiable.

Do I need to speak Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia?

English, yes. Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia are a plus — our team speaks all three between them. Our website is published in six languages, but that's a separate thing from what the team speaks.
